1. Rolls-Royce Boat Tail - $28 million



We all know Rolls Royce for its luxurious
car productions. The new Boat Tails comes with an exquisite design and is the
successor beautiful Sweptail, produced in 2017.



While we are yet to get an official
announcement from Rolls-Royce about the price, the Boat Tail is estimated to
with a whopping $28 million. The value comes at over two times the price of the
Sweptail which cost $12.8 million.



With a glittering appearance, the exterior
of the Boat Tail is two-toned, which is not common on most cars. Its finishing
is top-notch and comes with an interior that powers a "hosting suite"
with a built-in champagne fridge and sun umbrella.

2. Bugatti La Voiture Noire – $19 million



When it comes to the list of the most
expensive cars in the world in 2022, Bugatti La Voiture Noire is regarded by
many sources as the most expensive car.



Bugatti La Voiture Noire made its North
American debut at the world’s premier luxury auto show, and the Pebble Beach
Concours D’Elegance.



While the price for La Voiture Noire may
not be a surprise on the list of the most expensive cars in 2022, the car is
unarguably one of Bugatti's best productions ever. It also debuted at the
Geneva International Motor Show in March 2022.



Bugatti La Voiture Noire pays homage to one
of the most coveted classic cars in the world, the art deco design of the Type
57SC Atlantic. The design was made in 193 by Jean Bugatti, the eldest son of the
company founder, Ettore Bugatti. Only four such designs were made.



Three out of the four designs are accounted
for, while the fourth design which got missing during World War II, would be as
well valued at $100 million if found.



 



3. Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta



Ranked third on the list of the most
expensive cars in the world is Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta, an astonishing car that
costs $17 Million.



Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta was unveiled at
the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in 2017 as a present to celebrate the
company's founder, Horacio Pagani’s 60th birthday. In addition, to also commemorate
the 18th anniversary of the Zonda.



Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta is powered by an
AMG-built 7.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 M297 engine. It is derived from the
AMG M120 with an output of 790 horsepower, which tops the car out at 221 mph
making it the most powerful and fastest Zonda ever made.



Its exterior design comes with a unique
design ques giving it a different look from other Zondas and is produced with
the most distinguishable features which are the Barchetta body style and rear
wheel covers, inspired by Group C race cars. This unique design, however, makes
it the first Pagani to ever use this styling.



Unlike most cars on this list of the most
expensive cars in the world, only three HP Barchettas have been made thus far,
making it one of the rarest cars in the world.



 



4- Rolls-Royce Sweptail - $12.8 million



Yet another luxurious car by Rolls-Royce
which made its debut in May 2017 in the United Kingdom at the Concorso
d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, the Rolls-Royce Sweptail was designed by the
Rolls-Royce's Director of design, Gile Taylor who described the car as
"the automotive equivalent of Haute couture.”



Taking roughly three years to make, the
Sweptail design inspiration was gotten from the 1920s and 1930s car body
making. Additionally, it has the same design similarities with the Rolls-Royce
Phantom Coupé.



The Sweptail is made of 6.75L V12, a power
output of 338KW, and a speed of ZF 8-speed automatic. More so, it is rated as a
full-size luxury car.



 



5. Buggati Centodieci - $9 million



Buggati Centodieci is not only one of the
most expensive cars, but it is also one of the rarest cars.



Debuted by Buggati in Pebble Beach car
week, the Centodieci was built on Bugatti’s 110-year tradition of outstanding
performance and excellent design, while also honoring the brand’s recent
heritage.



The Centodieci design was a recreation of
the epochal EB110 with the Centodieci – Italian for 110.



The Centodieci which was inspired by the historical
model has an astounding performance and pioneering design and challenges all
bounds of creativity. Also, with its modern version of the classic wedge shape
and the renowned W16 engine, it tastefully ushers the EB110 into the new
millennium.



With limited units made, there are only 10
units of the Centodieci that are produced, and they're all distinguished
for their flawless elegance and stunning performances.



With an estimated value of $9 million, the
Centodieci is one of the most expensive cars in the world.



 



6. Mercedes-Benz Maybach Exelero – $8
million



The Mercedes-Benz Maybach Exelero
which was built by German luxury car manufacturer Maybach, 2022 is ranked sixth
on the list of most expensive cars in the world which is estimated at $8
million



During testing, the
Mercedes-Benz Maybach Exelero reached a speed of 218.38 Miles per hour,
and after its debut can reach a top speed of 351 Kilometers per hour.
Additionally, it is capable of acceleration from zero to 62 miles per hour in
4.4 seconds.



There is only one model for the Maybach
Exelero which is seen in Jay-Z’s music video “Lost One” in 2006, owned by Dr.
Andre Action Diakite Jackson, and a few others.



 



7. Bugatti Divo - of $5.8 million



Bugatti Divo is a top-notch product
released by Buggati in 2022.  Despite
sharing some similarities in terms of features with its cheaper
companion, the Chiron, the Divo has a lot going for it to justify its
extra cost.



Bugatti built the Divo to be 77 pounds
lighter than the Chiron by using lighter wheels, a carbon fiber intercooler,
and also deleting some sound deadening.



While having the same 1,500 horsepower
(1,119 kilowatts) as the Bugatti Chiron, the Divo also has a different
aerodynamic arrangement making it 8 seconds faster around the Nardo test
circuit.



With an estimated worth of $5.8 million,
the Divo is rated among the most expensive cars, while there are only 40 units
of it produced.



 



8. 8- Pagani Huayra - $5.4 million



Designed and developed by Italian sports
car manufacturer, Horacio Pagani, the Huayra was named after Huayra-tata, a
Quechua wind god. It was first seen on the internet with several pictures of it
in 2011 before its official debut at the headquarters of Pirelli in Milan in
February 2011.



Awarded 'The Hypercar of the Year
2012" by Top Gear magazine, the sports car has 2 door coupé and roadster
with a 5.980 L (364.9 cu in) twin-turbocharged Mercedes-AMG M158 V12 5.987 L
(365.3 cu in) Mercedes-Benz AG’s HWA AG V12 (Huayra R) engine, a power output
of 838 PS (616 kW; 827 hp), and a 7-speed automated manual.



Well-known as a sports car, the Huayra has
a top speed of about 383 km/h (238 mph) with a 0-97 km/h (60 mph) acceleration
time of 2.8 seconds.



 



9. Lamborghini Veneno - $4.5 million



Lamborghini marked its 50th anniversary (founded
in1963) with the Veneno and Veneno Roadster.  This supercar is rated as a
highly special few-of-one that has taken the notion of a super sports roadster
to the next level, breaking all odds with the world of racing.



From 2014 to 2015, Lamborghini produced 14
Venenos based on the Aventador. Each one is estimated at $4.5 million,
depending on the chosen specifications, and is in both convertible and coupe
versions. Hence, it is the costliest Lamborghini ever built. Additionally,
Lamborghini installed a massive powerful version of the Aventador’s 6.5-liter
V12 engine, which now produces 740 horsepower (552 kilowatts) and 509 pound-feet
(609 Newton-meters) of torque, making it to reach 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers
per hour) in 2.9 seconds.

million



Bugatti took the entire automotive world by
surprise when it announced that a customized version of the Bugatti Chiron had
broken the 300 mph barrier.



The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300 + is a
road-legal variant of the Chiron created to commemorate the event.



With a limited 30 units, the Super Sport
300+, is an outstanding version of the Chiron, with fluid, sliding bodywork and
a nice stripe theme.



Although you may assume a massive high
speed for the Chiron Super Sport 300+, Bugatti restricted each car’s top speed
to 277 mph.



Valued at $3.9 million, the supercar is
rated as the tenth most expensive car in the world in 2022.
