he is a famous musician and songwriter, he is also an entrepreneur, a
humanitarian, and a social activist.

amassed a lot of wealth through his career, 2face Idibia enjoys luxurious cars
and lives in a well-furnished apartment. Keep reading to find out more in this
article about the biography of 2face Idibia.
2Baba Biography
Innocent Ujah Idibia (2Baba) was born on
September 18, 1975, in Jos, Plateau State. He is the second son out of four
boys of the late Mr Michael Idibia and Rose Idibia.
Although 2face, his siblings (Hyacinth,
Stephen, Oche), and his parents lived in Plateau, they are an indigene of
Okpokwu LGA, in Benue State, Nigeria.
2Baba's father, the late Mr Michael Idibia
who dies on August 18, 2014, worked as a civil servant with Benue State's
Ministry of Agriculture. Although there is not much information about the
career of his mother or elder brother, 2face's younger brothers, Stephen and
Oche are also pursuing a career in music.
2Baba Education
2Baba attended his primary and secondary
education at Mount Saint Gabriel’s Secondary School in Makurdi, Benue state.
After completing his high school education,
he relocated to Enugu State where he enrolled for a preliminary National
Diploma course in Business Administration and Management at the Institute of
Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu State.
Unfortunately, 2face got carried away with
his musical ambitions and was busy performing in shows and events in IMT and
schools within Enugu State, including the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN)
and Enugu State University of Science & Technology (ESUT). In 1996, he
composed and sang jingles at the GB Fan Club at Enugu State Broadcasting
Services (ESBS).
Eventually, 2face Idibia got so engrossed
with his passion for music that he had to drop out of IMT to pursue his dreams.
2Baba Personal Life & Marriage
In 2012, 2Baba tied the knot with Annie
Macaulay-Idibia, and they are blessed with two daughters (Isabella and Olivia).
However, 2Baba has seven children from
three women. Their names include Isabella and Olivia by his wife Annie, Nino
and Zion by Sumbo Ajaba, Justin, Rose, and Innocent by Pero Adeniyi.
2Baba Musical Career
As said earlier, 2Face Idibia started his
music career while he was at IMT which he eventually dropped out from. After
dropping out of college, 2face decided to focus on his music ambitions which
made him join the Plantashun Boiz.
Plantashun Boiz
In 2000, 2Face alongside Black face (Ahmedu
Augustine Obiabo) and Faze (Chibuzor Orji) formed the music group, Plantashun
Boiz. They successfully released two music albums; Body & Soul (2000) and
Sold Out (2003) under the Dove Records
Eventually, the trio of the Platashun Boiz
disbanded in 2004, each pursuing a solo career. In 2007, they reunited and
released their third and last album titled “Plan B".
